IMPORTANT NOTE
In the event that your trolley needs to be returned to our facility for inspection and/or repair:
- All trolleys must be received in their original packaging. We therefore ask to please retain the TROLLEY BOX AND ALL PACKING INSERTS.
- In the event that an ORIGINAL BOX is not available for the return of a trolley or Battery & Charger, we would be happy to ship a box for the return at the customers expense. Please note that Battery & Charger returns do not require the original box for return; however, we strongly recommend packaging the Battery & Charger very well with protection from any damages that may occur during transit.
In the unlikely event that your Cart-Tek trolley becomes submerged in water, please unplug the battery from the unit. Do not try to charge the battery. Please contact us immediately at 1-855-839-1600 for direction on how to proceed.
Please Note:
All returns for repair must receive a Return Authorization Number from our office, prior to a return being sent. Any returns received without an Authorization Number will not be accepted. Please call us toll free at 1-855-839-1600 if you are encountering a problem; we will then troubleshoot over the phone and determine if a return for inspection and repair is required.
Cart-Tek Canada Trolleys & Chargers - manufacturers Warranty Conditions
The trolley and charger are covered by a 24 month manufacturers warranty from the date of purchase. The manufacturers warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse (as set out in the relevant manual) or commercial use is not covered. Cart-Tek Canada batteries are covered by a separate manufacturers warranty, below.
The standard Cart-Tek Canada manufacturers warranty only covers purchases made in Canada. If you encounter a problem with your trolley, battery or charger within the manufacturers warranty period, please contact the place of purchase or call us direct at (905) 839-1600 to allow us to rectify the problem as soon as possible. In the unlikely event you need to make a claim you must provide proof of purchase, so please ensure this is retained.
If prior to receiving your trolley, we diagnose that you require a spare part, we will send it to you by Canada Post or by our preferred carrier. Failing which we will collect, repair (if possible) and return the faulty product (or its replacement), at our cost (in the case of a faulty trolley, this must be in its original packaging). If the fault is not covered by these manufacturers warranty conditions, you will be liable for the courier and administrative charges, plus the costs of parts and labour. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new manufacturers warranty, beyond that of the original purchase.
The manufacturers warranties contained herein are offered as an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. These manufacturers warranties are non-transferrable.
Cart-Tek Canada Lithium Battery manufacturers Warranty
The Cart-Tek Lithium battery and charger are both covered by a full 24 month manufacturers warranty from the date of purchase.
In order for us to deem something eligible for replacement under manufacturers warranty (full or pro-rated), we need to have the items returned to us for inspection and testing. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns section for full details and steps to facilitating a return to us. The manufacturers warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse or commercial use is not covered.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your battery & charger pass our testing, or if they have failed due to damage caused by use/abuse, you will be responsible for all shipping charges involved in the return, and there will be no manufacturers warranty coverage.
Only parts installed by a Certified Cart-Tek Canada Technician carry the full manufacturers warranty; parts replaced by non-Cart-Tek Canada technicians do not carry a manufacturers warranty and cannot be returned once they have been in use.
Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new manufacturers warranty beyond that of the original purchase. The manufacturers warranties contained herein are offered as an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to request a proof of purchase.
Cart-Tek Lithium Batteries are subject to the standard Cart-Tek Canada manufacturers warranty terms and conditions.
